JEREMY LONG

Founder and Hitting Instruction

Coach Long attended Walkersville High School as a switch hitter and infielder. Went to Allegany community college in 90-91 with 2 Junior college World Series and Big Stick Award winner for highest batting average. With his successes in junior college Coach Long went to Florida International University in 92-94 where his career batting average was 324.

Coach Long found his passion in coaching back in 1996. He currently has 11 kids that have played minor league baseball. Brady Policelli (Detriot Tigers) and Jacbob Wetzel (Chicago Cubs) are currently chasing their dreams in the MLB pipeline.

He was an assistant coach at Catoctin High School, Head Coach at Walkersville for 8 years and now an assistant coach for Urbana High School. Since Coach Long started coaching he has had over 62 players play collegiate baseball.

Rick

RICK FORNEY

Pitching Instruction

Rick Forney was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles as a 26th-round pick in 1991 out of Anne Arundel Community College. He enjoyed a 10-year playing career from 1991-2000 in which he was 89-56 (.614) with a 3.63 ERA in 204 professional games, 195 of them as a starting pitcher. Rick recorded 1,050 strikeouts in 1,221.0 innings, while walking just 363 and allowing only 102 home runs.

Rick enters his 15th season as Winnipeg Goldeyes’ manager a member of the 12-team American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.

Bill

BILL WALLACE

Hitting and Fielding Instruction

Bill Wallace is a former American professional baseball infielder and outfielder. He played professionally with three Major League Baseball organizations from 1988 to 1992. During his professional tenure he was instructed by many of the top major league players including Ricky Henderson, Lenn Sakata, Rick Burleson and Bucky Dent.
Before Bill's professional playing days, he played two years at Frederick Community College where he was the team captain in 1986 and 1987. He was selected to the 1987 All Maryland JUCO Region 20 Team and the 1986 Maryland JUCO All-Star team. Bill played both years as a shortstop and received a full scholarship to the University of South Carolina Upstate.
Some of Bill's other accomplishments include an invitational tryout for the 1988 US Olympic Baseball team, Assistant Coach at Frederick Community College, and time working for the legendary Buck Dent Baseball School. Bill has been coaching and instructing players of all ages for over 30 years.

Tyler

TYLER BECKWITH

Infield Instruction

Tyler is a former American professional baseball infielder. He was drafted in the 17th round by the Washington Nationals in 2016. He played his college career at the University of Richmond where he was a four year starter.

Brady

BRADY POLICELLI

Catching Instruction

Brady is a current American professional baseball catcher drafted in the 13th round by the Detroit Tigers in 2016. He played his college baseball at Towson University. He finished his collegiate career hitting .302 with 21 home runs and 97 RBI. As a junior, he finished top-50 in Division I with a .375 batting average and 12th with a .502 on-base percentage, adding nine home runs and 45 RBI.

Brady is currently listed on the Detroit Tigers 60-man Major League Player Pools assigned to their alternate facility in Toledo Ohio.
